2023 - a short review

Hey there!

It's been a while since I last checked in. I hope you’re well and surviving this busy season leading up to Christmas.

For me, 2023 was a bit of a weird year - uneventful in many ways and a bit meh. We had a couple of weekends away. We went to Parkesbourne (near Goulburn) for a farmstay for Gary’s birthday. Check our Airbnb accommodation here.  It was fabulous. For my birthday we went to Camboon (Seven Oaks Cottage) near Rylstone with our good friends, who we welcomed back from Portugal after 4 years. We saw Furnace and the Fundamentals at the Enmore - one of THE best bands I’ve seen in a very long time. We missed my nephew’s wedding (stupid Covid), shared in our dear friends’ unimaginable grief of losing a child and lamented the atrocities still happening in the Ukraine and now in the middle east.

It seems like work took a bit of a backward step, although I did collaborate with some amazing new clients -  Dekorient, Glass Guard, Bits of Australia, Tummy Gummies and continued with old favourites including Magpie Distilling, No Restriction and Boxi Gift Service.

Our family is celebrating Christmas next weekend and then Gary and I are heading off to Northern Europe and the frozen wonderland of the Arctic. This trip has been 3 years in the making (thanks COVID - not!).

On another note, I recently taught myself to knit and I’ve made some merino items that will come in very handy in the cold.

Thank you for your love and support in 2023.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! 🎉🎉🎉

Oh, and if you plan on jingling, please jingle all the way - nobody likes a lazy jingler!
